Deloitte South Africa’s Financial Contribution Fund provides financial assistance to students pursuing the Chartered Accountancy route. Applicants must be at a SAICA-accredited institution and be eligible for a Deloitte training contract. The amount awarded varies according to academic performance, motivation and financial need, so this fund is better described as a financial contribution rather than a guaranteed full-cost bursary.

The contribution is paid directly to the SAICA-accredited institution and is applied to tuition and academic materials first. Any remaining amount is directed towards accommodation. Deloitte states that contributions may be renewed each year for the duration of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, subject to academic performance.

For 2027 university funding, matric and undergraduate applications ran from 1 June to 30 September 2026. Deloitte states that applications for PGDA or CTA funding remain open throughout the year. Applicants should use the official page to confirm the correct route and current requirements.
