The Imfundo Trust is an Old Mutual Investment Group scholarship initiative supporting transformation in the investment industry. For 2027, the listed business and finance route is open to students who will be in their first or second year of study.

Eligible fields include Business, Commerce, Finance and Management Sciences or Management Studies. The programme also lists selected Computer Science, Data Science, Climate Studies and Engineering qualifications. First-year applicants are expected to have achieved at least 70 percent in their mid-year Grade 12 examinations, including the stated Mathematics and English thresholds. Current first-year students need an average of at least 65 percent in their latest examinations. Students from rural and township backgrounds are given preference.
