Rheinmetall Denel Munition External STEM Bursary for 2027
The Rheinmetall Denel Munition External STEM Bursary supports eligible young South Africans who are studying or intend to study an approved engineering qualification at a recognised tertiary institution. The listed undergraduate fields are chemical engineering, electrical engineering, electronic engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering and software engineering. Applicants must be South African citizens by birth, between 18 and 35 years old and unemployed. They must be registered for, or have proof of acceptance into, a full time qualification at NQF level six or above, and must meet the published school results requirements.
The bursary may contribute to registration fees, tuition fees, prescribed textbooks, a meal allowance subject to a cap and accredited student accommodation subject to a cap. Repeat modules are excluded from the stated package. The required application materials listed in the current programme notice include the completed form, certified identity document, proof of registration or acceptance, a tuition quotation, course outline, academic record where applicable, motivation letter and curriculum vitae.
The published closing date is 5 November 2026 and the application is submitted by email to the bursary address given in the current notice. Because the detailed call was retrieved from a secondary bursary directory and a university listing rather than a live provider page, Bursela should keep this record unpublished until the provider confirms that the form and deadline remain current.
